Audio Sessions Show, Osaka, Japan - Good sounds & good food

Last weekend we attended the Audio Sessions show in Osaka in Japan, where Mr. Iori and Mr. Oonaka of Takstock, our Japanese distributor, demonstrated the German Physiks HRS-130 omnidirectional loudspeakers. The system used a Vertere Acoustics SG-1 turntable and tube electronics from Canor Audio in the Czech Republic. We can honestly say, having been there, that it sounded extremely good. A lot of visitors to the room told us that we had the best sound in the show, but you would expect us to say that!

We have heard the Vertere turntable before so we knew it would be good. It was however the first time for us to properly hear Canor Electronics and we were very seriously impressed. The system had excellent dynamics, resolution and imaging, so we are very happy that this will be a regular line-up for future German Physiks demonstrations in Japan.

Our thanks to Mr. Iori and Mr. Oonaka for their very hard work and kind hospitality and to everyone who came to our room. The food in Osaka was excellent. If you are planning a trip to Japan, you should try to include a visit to Osaka.
